Google Trends Anyone?
Have you discovered Google Trends yet? Oh man, when you do find it, it is very addicting. Here’s the deal on Google Trends: it is a search engine of all the searches done in the world. In other words, if you want to see who googles the phrase “hate Jesus” the most, you would find out that it is indeed Portland, Oregon! Or if you want to find out who googles kiddy porn the most, you’d find out that it’s those darn Turks and South Africans! The Philippines by far google homosexuality more than any other country in the world. Weird huh? If you were wondering who googles “pewter”, you’d be pleasantly surprised to see that it is either the country of Malaysia or the city of Charlotte in North Carolina.
The problem I’ve found is that every result is a huge generalization. They take very small numbers and then guess on a very large scale. So because of this, the results vary quite a bit. When you search pewter, you may indeed come up with something entirely different. Pretty cool though, I thought. Give it a shot and let me know what cool stuff you come up with.

Hm…
and if you googletrend “hell” it’s mostly Oceanic countries and cities that come up (australia, New Zealand)…hmm…what does that mean?

3) The only people, as one might suspect, who search Moscow, Idaho… are people from Moscow, Idaho. Interesting. It feels a bit strange commenting on your blog from your computer in your house….
